OxzyTreat
Advanced Catalytic Oxidation Technology for Treatment & Reuse of Distillery and Sugar Mill Process Condensate
MEE condensate generated from raw spent wash in ethanol distilleries can contain high organic load and toxic constituents that limit its direct reuse or discharge. Reducing COD and improving condensate quality are therefore important for supporting reuse and Zero Liquid Discharge requirements.
Effective treatment is required to degrade organic pollutants and convert undesirable compounds into less harmful forms before the treated condensate can be reused within the process.
OxzyTreat is based on chemical oxidation using a designed combination of catalysts and oxidizing agents. When applied with hydrogen peroxide and aeration, it generates oxidizing species that break down complex organic compounds, helping reduce COD and improve water quality for further polishing and reuse.
- Reduces COD by degrading organic contaminants
- Converts toxic compounds into less harmful forms
- Does not introduce hazardous secondary substances
- Provides a faster and less capital-intensive treatment approach

FAQ's
OzyTreat uses a catalytic oxidation process with hydrogen peroxide and aeration to generate oxidizing species that degrade complex organic contaminants, reduce COD, and convert toxic compounds into less harmful forms. This improves condensate quality for further polishing, reuse, and compliance with Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) requirements.
No. OzyTreat is designed to degrade organic contaminants without introducing hazardous secondary substances into the treated water.
No. OzyTreat can be integrated into existing condensate treatment systems using a reaction tank, hydrogen peroxide dosing, aeration, and final polishing.
